I am looking for a long coat german shepherd as dark as possible but not completely black.
I want a male dog who would become a family pet and will not be used for breeding or security.
The puppy would need to be ready now or in the next week.
I am located in Bradford, West Yorkshire so the closer the breeder the better but I am willing to travel.
Please contact me at mandy.mepham@buckley-jewellery.com with details.
Thankyou for your time.
Mandy.

Hi Dessie,

These sites are very informative but no long coats that are available right now or in the forthcoming week.

Any more suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mandy.

um, what the mad rush for?

Hi cleopatra,

It is my partners birthday in the next couple of weeks and the puppy as well as being an addition to our ever expanding family will primarily be his.

We have always wanted a long coat gsd and 6 months ago moved to a double cottage with ample gardens and surrounded by fields.

We now have the space and time for a new puppy and plan on getting one anyway - I just thought it would be nice to surprise my partner.

The new addition would join 2 dogs, 3 cats and a rabbit and a various amount of wildlife we have in our gardens.

Hope this answers your question.

Mandy.

a surprise puppy eh.....now why doesn't that sound like a good idea to me :(
No reputable breeder will sell you a puppy without meeting both of the new owners/all of the household first. no reputable breeder will sell a puppy as a surprise present.

Hi Sam,

I have been brought up with dogs of different breeds all my life and my partner is the same.
I am very conscious of the fact that a suprise dog doesn't sound good but as I said in my previous reply - we are going to get the puppy anyway - its just the timing that's different.
The dogs we have at the moment have been with us from being puppies and have a full, healthy and loving life.
Please do not tar me with the same brush as these people who get rid of their dogs once the novelty of being a puppy wears off.
Any dog that is taken in by my family and I will come to a loving life-long home and will be well cared for!
Mandy

well in that case there will be no problem in taking your husban along as well then when you view the pups.

Hi Mandy
hope you find the pup you're looking for but please in your rush don't buy a pup whos parents are not hip-scored.I know you only want a pet but hip dispacia is all too common and causes nothing but pain(for the dog) and heart break for the owners.OH yes and BIG vets bills
Good luck Archer

But even buying a pup woth good hip scores isnt a gaurentee that the puppy will have trouble free joints (as happened to a friend of mine with their delighful Chocolate Lab :-( )
