I've been told it strengthens there teeth if you play tug of war with your puppy - not sure if there's much point at the min cos she's nearly 5 months old so they will be falling at any min.

At nearly 5 months I would expect most "milk teeth" to have come out already.
Maybe there are differences in breeds but in my breed milk ones are almost gone by 5 months?
Tug of war definitely helps in getting rid of the milk teeth so beneficial in my eyes :)

She's a goldie and as far as I can see they are all still there lol but guess what I'm going to play with her now lol

I would say yes to the difference in breeds.  I always have the milk teeth taken out in mine when they reach 6 months.  That is, of course, if any still remain.  And it is quite common in my breed.

Just thought I would let you know we list our first baby tooth yesterday - at long last, I've been waiting and checking since she was 4 months lol

I was keen to play tuggy with my puppy, now 5 1/2 months old but when his teeth started to come out he was reluctant to play it as a couple of times loose teeth came out while playing so we stopped playing all together until they were all gone (which was about 2 weeks ago) and now he is starting to enjoy tugging again. Just be careful not to put him off :)

ahhh, her first tooth! I seem to remember they all followed quite swiftly after the first one in my goldie pup.  Then I thought how amazing it was that she had a new set of gnashers there! I remember it got to the point of my husband touching a tooth in her mouth and it was so wobbly it just sort of came out in his hand-very strange but as i say, amazing.  Wish humans lost and grew teeth so easily!

Not a game that is recommended for what is meant to be a soft-mouthed gundog! You will teach her to grab and hold on in a most undesirable way.
