Puds my ten year old girl who had sudden onset severe incontinence is going into the vets today for a series if further tests.

She has had full bloods and all fine so we are going to test for cushings which I don't think it is as she has not other symptoms and then ultra sound scans.

She is my very special girl who my once in a lifetime dog so really hoping it is nothing too serious.

Wish her luck as really want to get her back to her normal dry not smelling of wee happy girl.

A friend of mine has a 6 year old Malinois who suddenly became very incontinent. She (the bitch) was very upset about it as normally she's a very clean girl. They had to try two different types of tablets but now she's dry 90 % of the time. The vet reckoned it was possibly due to her being spayed too early in life (no choice, bitch had pyometra) so fingers crossed it's nothing too serious with Puddles either.

Just spoken to my vet before I left her and he doesn't think it is cushings either but he is going run a series of tests to start with a test for that then a scan, then a camera into her bladder until we can find what is up.

She is such a good girl and sat and just wagged her tail at him ! He has a soft spot for her as he thinks she is the only good well behaved dog we have compared to the other hooligans that cause a riot when they ever have to go to the vets ! Lol

It is not Cushings and the bladder looked normal on the scan so al full urinalysis is being done and we should know the results tomorrow.

If that comes back with no clues then she will have a camera inserted to have a look round to see if there are ant clues.

She is happy as normal still weeing and drinking though !

Sorry started a seperate thread as it is a condition that is quite rare as it seems in animals as well as humans.http://www.champdogsforum.co.uk/board/topic/139029.html
