I am so excited as I am just leaving to collect my little girl from the specialist hospital after her 'bone groove / patella' op. She's been in since Sunday and I can't wait, in fact I feel like a child not able to settle, I just want to get there !!!

So pleased for you.  Keep her restricted and be firm about it.  It is honestly worth it.  You are going to see such a difference in 4 months time.  You'll never regret it.  :-)

I had no idea she would be shaved right up to her spine, she looks like an oven ready turkey leg, but I love her however she looks. I gave her your kiss and she said 'snuffle' !!!! ( in a sleepy little voice) She's still very swollen and on pain killers and ABs but I am going to follow the rules 110 % as this is the rest of her life in my hands.

I am so pleased that she is home with you.  I smiled at the turkey leg, as when I had my very first dog with a patella op about 20 years ago, my first reaction was, oh boy it looks like a raw chicken portion!

You will feel so much calmer just having your girl back with you.  :-)
