I have booked a couple of open shows for my new puppy who will hopefull be out in feb next year as they have no puppy classes for my breed i have entered her in the only available junior class but i have also booked her in to any variety puppy now my question is wishfull thinking if she was to be best puppy etc in her breed class can i withdraw her from her any variety class or would i still have to enter which would mean i would be nocked out of group if she didnt win??

like i said just looking at best case if she won (you never know lol)

Thanks

Yes. You can not withdraw from a breed class to remain unbeaten though.
Its always good to think positive & know what you can or cant do before hand :)

My understanding is that you can withdraw from a breed class to remain unbeaten however any award won after that would be nil & void
Say you won Junior but also entered Yearling and withdrew from yearling, went into the challenge & was handed the CC it wouldn't actually count, I may be wrong as i was told this a few year ago.

No, rules for puppies & adults is the same..see rule F(1) 26d & 27e.... you can not with draw from a breed class to remain unbeaten.

You can withdraw from a breed class but if you do then you can not take part further in the competition, so e.g. if your dog goes lame after winning puppy then you can withdraw from yearling, but you can't then go back in to challenge later for best puppy or the CC
