Hi a friend of mine knows a lady that is in a old peoples home for quite a while as her son has died and he was her carer, they are hoping to move her to an old peoples bungalow  with warden help some time in the future, she has a small terrier cross who is in the local boarding kennels, she is not willing to give him up as she wants him with her when she moves, she has the kennels take him to see her in the home once a week for an hour, for this they charge her an extra £20 on top of weekly charges, does anyone know if there is any where that fosters dogs in situations like this until the owner is back on their feet as the poor dog is not coping well in kennels, which in turn is not helping the poor lady.

Yes.  It is exactly what the Cinammon Trust is known for.  They have foster carers around the country that help in exactly this sort of situation.

I agree with Jean, get in touch with the Cinammon Trust and they will hopefully find him a foster home.
