Topic Dog Boards / Health / Urine sample, advice ASAP please!

Hi all,
I need to know; How much do they need to test?
I have to collect a urine sample from my dog this morning. I missed his 1st wee of the day but managed to collect some from his 2nd attempt.  They gave me one of those strange cup shaped collectors (male dog) and a sample  bottle, there is only about an inch in the bottle and I'm wondering if that is enough? A rough guess would 15ml?
thank you!

Yes that is fine :-)

You have plenty there, only need a little as it will either be needed to dip a small stick in a bit like a small cardboard match or enough to smear in a dish or perhaps both but you have more than enough.

Thank you both!
He does have some trace of protein and blood so going to try antibiotics and hope it is only a simple infection. He's nearly 12 so the other options aren't good news unfortunately.

thanks again
