Why does my puppy love to play with her bowl of drinking water lol she just splashes about with her paw and sticks her nose in and ends up soaking all around.  Is it just puppies or just dogs in general I can't remember my other two doing it :)

Normal in this house but I must say they have grown out of it much like chasing the broom or mop ! Just for fun I guess :)

Sometimes puppies think they see things in the reflective bowl.  Or sometimes there are bits of dirt and fluff in there which they can't resist the urge to chase and get...

My last 2 puppies thought that they had to empty the bowl every time it was refilled ,my kitchen was like a swimming pool ,Just keep a mop handy pup will soon grow out of this , Its one of those things that when they stop you miss & think of it being funny (well I did lol)

Well mop always handy in case of accidents lol I must admit it is funny when I catch her doing it, she's so engrossed in it that you just have to laugh I was just curious as to what ideas people thought might be the reason.

Oh yes, so common with puppies! I'm going through it right now with mine.

Yes I have those nice road refresher bowls non spill bowls, the large one was sued for the pups, no fear of them drowning and avoided too much paddling.

I also have two of the small ones.  Except now Peni can pick it up and turn it upside down, and also chewed the strips off the bottom, she is a weeks short of 5 months old.  so no small bowl in the crate, has to sue the communal stainless steel one that holds a gallon.  This stands under a plastic stool, avoids getting kicked, and avoids it being moved by the dogs, they put their heads through the legs.
