Isn't I just awful this year. Apart from the girl who did the Take That cover , they are making my ears hurt

A lot of it is painful yes, I too like the voice of the 16yr old girl but I also think that the Liverpudlian chap Christopher has a decent voice along with Kye and Jahmene has something but his nerves let him down.
Maybe they'll all improve like a good cheese on the other hand they could end up just stinking ;)

It's so boring now. All the judges need replacing for a start, especially that awful American. And why oh why did they have to bring back that snivelling bloke? Yep my vote is for Ella Henderson as well -the only name I remember as the local radio keeps plugging her as being from the region, LOL.

I think they got to One Direction and I switched looking for something else... Flicked back and waited for casualty to start and that was me done... Must of seen 2 or 3 acts sing and none were good enough IMO to be there and I was BORED!!! Lol

Only watched bits of it, some sounded SOOOOO bad! But thought that the beautiful guy in the awful gold top should have a a good chance at a modelling career - what incredible bone structure! Sadly, doesn't seem able to sing, but very nice to look at!

What happened to the homeless busker that got through the auditions?

He walked out. Said he just couldn't do it.

Gwen I've heard that he has been a model and was also a professional footballer at one time! He does not do it for me at all, not my kind of handsome LOL.

First show so it might improve :-) but I liked Ella and Melanie. I didn't see the first few because MERLIN! started last night - love merlin ( well Arthur actually but you know what I mean :-D )
A girl after my own heart Dakkobear I also love Ella and Melanie my two favs. :-)
Unfortunately for Xfactor I just think the show has been going for too long, we all know the routine we all know the comments, the show has brought us some really good singers and talent, but it needs a break and maybe a come back in a few years.
As with everything we get bored and nothing really new comes with Xfactor now, just like BigBrother (I haven't even watched the last two series at all and probably won't watch it again)
Would like Ella to win though, just want to cut the weeks down and be done with it so I can buy her album. :-D
What a load of rubbish it is!! Why oh why, do we have to put up with nearly two and a half hours of rubbish for about 45 minutes of singing? The judges want sacking but even if they were replaced, we would have the same old comments... "You really NAILED it", " You made that song your own" etc. etc. and the 'sob' stories again and again!!!! It is a shame that perfomers like Ella and one or two others have no other platform to show-case their talent.

I idled my way through American Xfactor auditions yesterday and some of them could really sing. The UK lot just seem weedy and out of tune alot of the time

Love American X Factor, defo more talent..
Actually watching the results on the UK one... Those boy groups can not sing... Rylan, well I reckon I'm better than him and I'm shit!! Lol
It's a joke.... Some can sing but they give them silly songs, silly arrangements and costumes and dancers etc...
What a farce! Louis Walsh ought to be sacked!!

Gary has walked off maybe for effect but he will be back as his contract will make him.
Rylan obviously as a big fan base even tho he can't sing for toffee!

I think Rylan looks like Katie Price ! but can't sing at all .
I have a soft spot for James Arthur ( he was great in auditions ) hope they aren't going to mould him into something they think would be better , I think he is a bit different from the rest , I also like Ella.

I think Rylan looks like a cross between Vanilla Ice and Freddie Mercury! But without any talent! Louis was utterly ridiculous, I don't get how they allowed it at all as he SAID he chose to keep Carolynne then changed his mind. What was there to be so upset about anyway???

>I don't get how they allowed it at all as he SAID he chose to keep Carolynne then changed his mind
EXACTLY! How the hell can he say he chooses her, then changes his mind and says he wants it to go to the public vote.
It should never have been allowed. I have no interest in it, and no one that I'm backing, but did see that bit, and was annoyed that he got away with messing people about.
Glad I'm not the only one that thought of Freddie Mercury! :-)

Yes he is :)

Because he had the producers screaming in his ear to send it to deadlock and for the same reason that Rylan is still there. The ratings have been poor so far this series, they need to do something to stir up a bit of contraversy and keep X Factor in the headlines.
X Factor has always been rigged to suit Simon Cowell and his wallet.

There is a photo going round on FB, taken by someone in the audience, of a member of the production team on the floor at Louis' feet talking to him at this point, and Louis' half bending down to listen, apparently taken jsut before he did his decision change.
Really really dull. I remember when Ollie Murs was on it, that year was fantastic, all great acts, couldn't choose who I liked more. This year... sigh.

Personally, I think that it is that sort of thing that has caused the drop in ratings. People are just fed up with the nonsense....

I've never watched X Factor previously but forced myself to watch it as my friends daughter was on. She was great in her audition but made an absolute fool of herself in the bootcamp, all very embarrassing, felt really sorry for my friend. Luckily I won't have to bother watching any more of them though :-)

I'd have given up long before now if only there was anything else on over a weekend, but there's absolutely NOTHING!

She was drunk! One chance and she ruined it :-( She said whisky and brandy are good for the vocal chords - you wouldn't have thought it if you'd heard the singing :-D It was a real shame because she does have a great voice (when sober). Kids eh!

Oh I remember that one!
Now as for a much nicer alternative to the X-factor, the second series of "Who let the dogs out" has recently been on BBC (kids TV so daytime) and is available on iPlayer. WELL worth a watch!! My son auditioned for this series with one of my papillons, didn't go further but I was very proud of them all the same. It's so nice to see such a positive programme about dogs. I just wish they put it on of an evening for EVERYONE to see, it's much too good to stick to a kids slot during the day.

When it went to the sing off I immediately said that Tulisa would vote for Carolynne and Louis for Rylan, Louis loves the bizarre, camp and the freaky we know that, always more so than the voice, I was shocked that he couldn't make up his mind and guessed it was because Carolynne did sing so well.
Dermot can only take the official answer of:
"I'm sending so and so home" which is why he continued to ask even after Louis said "I'm keeping Carolynne" Louis had to say it correctly.
Tbh did it matter neither were going to win the show.........
I do feel sorry for the boy bands though, Louis is going to annihilate them, Little Mix would have been out of the show early on if Louis had had them last year.
But, I do have a soft spot for the little Irish man, I love it when he giggles. :-D
