and i have the flu! nightmare. It's a puppy show, all breeds, i have never been to one of these before am i right ot presume there will be more allowance made for puppies being....well... puppies!?

Judges should always make allowance for puppies being puppies, dose yourself up and enjoy.

True, true, but i think one allocated to judge a pup show won't forget! i hope! let's just say my gorgeous boy is at the stage of chew the lead and bounce around.... :P

Well I have just made my 4 month old pups first Champ show entry for the LKA in December (her only show this year). Her first show will be an Open show a few weeks earlier, but entries don't close for that until the end of October.

Good luck for tomorrow Inka! :)
hope the flu can be coped with, not your ideal debut but if it all goes pear shaped (which I am sure it won't) then you know next time you'll be even more shiny and ready :)
Go, pup!!!!

Good luck and let us know all about how it goes!

Yep lots of positive vibes being sent, enjoy.

Good luck! You can show them before 6 months there then? I'm sure with such young pups judges will not expect perfection. I remember my first ever pup's first show, in Sweden where you can show from 4 months -he ended up stopping in the middle of the ring for a wee! Everyone just smiled.

Yes, we can show baby pups (4-6 months).
He was best pup in breed and reserve best in group ( of only two), the winner was a 6 month old bred by exhibitor beauty who stacked and gaited like a perfect adult. My boy was not like an adult, but he was like a wonderful pup, delighted with him :) :) IT was made harder by the fact i've lost my voice and couldn't talk to him though!!

Excellent start glad you both had fun!
