Topic Dog Boards / General / accept 10 dogs!
- By STARRYEYES Date 23.09.12 10:59 UTC
found this whist looking for a short break with the dogs.... they are booked up for the rest of this year but according to the information provided they accept upto 10 dogs .. although you have to pay for them I know some people on here are often looking for  somewhere that accept more than the norm of 2-3 dogs. How the heck you could holiday with 10 dogs I dont know!! (thought it was a misprint but it states in in more than 1 place.

That is good but the cost would mount up for £15 per dog per night if you have 10!!!!

How many beds, suppose if there are a group of people each with dogs then it could reach ten easy enough, would only need 3 like me and you would be there with some to spare.

Just remembered we, as a breed, used to stay in a hotel with others to do a couple of Scottish shows and there would have been 10 dogs easy as most had 2 or 3 with them.

As the two properties sleep up to 16 it is probably not going to be one family unit.
I would wonder whether they really mean to allow that many dogs in the single property that sleeps 4 but maybe so.  Where would you put them all?!

A friend of mine (has 5 but also had 6) used to go on holiday with soem peopel from ehr trainign club with between them up to 20 dogs.

They had references from previous holidays to show that they did not damage the facilities and left it as clean or cleaner than when they arrived.

There's group picture of them from one trip here: http://barbelka.awardspace.co.uk/_wp_generated/wp22c608c8.jpg

I was looking for a place last week & came across one with NO limits - apparently the most they had had with one family was 19!!!

I can't find the link at present - but if anyone needs this, I'll spend some time looking.

It's £15 per week per dog - still pricey but less than kennels would be for 10 dogs for a week!

We are looking for someone in the Whitby area who will take four dogs. Not easy!!

When hubby and I were looking for a place to honeymoon that would allow us to take our 9 dogs, we only found 2 in the whole of the UK (this was 8 years ago) - one in Wales and one in the NE. We are now setting up our own holiday let which will allow unlimited numbers of dogs as we realise only too well how hard it is to find somewhere when you have more than one/two small well behaved dogs that a lot of places stipulate.

Thank goodness for you people...I have only 4, hardly a horde, but we usually resort to a tent because it is so hard to find anywhere affordable even if they will take that number of dogs

The Belle Vue pub in Llanllwni does amazing food if anyone does ever go and stay in that cottage!
