> I agree ML, i think he knows perfectly well what the dogs " saying" to him, but for the sake of tv viewers, ramps up the confrontation and makes himself out to be some sort of he-man to the unwary. Makes him a hundred times worse in my eyes.
Strangely enough, most of the herpetologists (reptile experts) I have met both here and in the USA, say the same things about the late Steve Irwin. That he mishandled and ramped up the thrill factor for the camera at the expense of the animals. Well, an animal got him in the end... holding out some hope that CM will meet the wrong dog at the wrong time one day.
Goldmali - couple of years ago I realised an old classmate from school [school was 100 miles away] actually lived in the road next to me, and wow she also had a dog! So we caught up on a lot, it was amazing to reconnect, dogs got on etc and we went for daily walks and also socialised. Then the dogs had a spat, and she told me I should grab my boy by the neck and do an alpha roll on him, because that's what CM does [transpires she had all his videos and worshipped him]. Considering my dog was upset and wouldn't let me catch him, I can't imagine how much damage that would have done to him, if I'd even considered it. I said something along the lines of "I'll effing pin you first!" Hmmm funny, wasn't invited out for walks after that. Such a shame because it was a nothing-event dogwise, and my dog to this day would probably wee himself in glee if he ever saw his mate Harvey again :(
CM sucks all the joy out of dog ownership.... I can't understand how people don't see it... meanwhile everything that is being done in various universities worldwide to explore the dog-human bond points more and more towards my signature (below) which I treasure as a perfect quote. [Comments about bitches notwithstanding! LOL]
