Hi Anne
So very sorry to hear you have to re home your girl, she will settle in with her new people,it may take a while but she will :) at least you have found decent loving people to take her on and not taken her to a rescue centre. You can't do anymore. It's probably best if you don't visit for a while though as this will be harder on her and you when it's time to say goodbye again.Give her about six weeks to get herself together and then meet on a park or somewhere similar.
Keep your chin up, this must be an awful time for you. :)
Tracey
A very sad situation, and i agree with Anne, that she is bound to miss you at first, but after time will settle. Will you be able to keep in touch with her new owners and perhaps see photos of her, or would you find this too difficult?
I'm sure you will let her new owners know everything about her which will help, such as fav. toys, commands she knows, and so on. Familiarity will be a good thing and will help smooth over the strangeness for her :)
Best wishes
Lindsay
