Just wondered if people use one or both of these?  What you have found useful and what dose you have given?

Would never be without Caulophllum.  Found it good and sure it got my singleton out.  Used raspberry leaf (1 tab) but not sure if it benefitted or not.  I gave epo (1 cap)as well.

I gave Caulophllum 30c and afew drops at a time about 1/2 to 1hr apart and once as pushing out.

What are you using it/them for? To minimise phantom pregnancy or for ease of whelping? I use raspberry leaf tablets from Dorwest Herbs, and the doses are different depending on the purpose.

for whelping.  So when do you start giving each?

I use the Raspberry tablets from Holland and Barrett.  I have only ever NOT used them with one litter and it was a terrible, long, messy labour for that girl.  I trusted them so much that I also used them when I went to whelp my own kids!!lol.  And, yes, they worked for me too!!
I start the tablets at around 5 weeks and the dosage depends on weight.

Oh well she only has 17 days left so perhaps I've left it a bit late!!  I have Holland and Barret ones in the cupboard.  She is 50 kg pre pregnancy weight so probably the human dose?

I know possibly why I had easy whelps then.  It was better than text book.  I'll continue to use it next time.  Mine is small breed and it was 1 1/2 tabs for her.  No nasty labour either

Its not too late as you'll still have some in her system.  I understand it helps the womb relax.

when do you start to give them?  Is it during the pregnancy or imminently upon whelping?
- By Rhodach [gb] Date 27.09.12 01:12 UTC
I've never used them but from what I have read you start in the weeks leading up to the whelping.

FitnFertile have a supplement that starts about 10days pre due date and it is a combination of things to aid an easy whelping, I am thinking of giving it a go next time.

Does anyone know where I can buy Caulophyllum in a store? Ordering online isnt worth it as the delivery fees are so high...
