Hi does anyone have any suggestions of how to remove the smell of diesel from my yorkies paws, oH took her for a walk yesterday and they walked through what he thought was water by some work going on for a new bridge, but it was obviously not water, as she wreaked of diesel. i washed her paws 4 times with dog shampoo but she still smells of the diesel and I am worrying about her licking her paws as she is very clean and if she gets her feet wet or dirty spends an age cleaning them.

Not sure if it will work with diesel, but to remove tar I always use neat washing up liquid and then rinse well, it works a treat and seems to dissolve the tar. It would be worth a try on diesel

I second the washing up liquid, it worked when my terrier walked through diesel recently.  It took 3 or 4 applications and rinses but it worked
