Dog Advisory Council has listed what it thinks would be appropriate rules for breeding dogs, whether many litters or just a single one. Nobody's going to be 100% delighted with everything, but there are some very good ideas in there. Good to see they say "
These issues are as relevant for mixed-breed, crossbreed or so-called designer dogs as they are for pedigree dogs, and so this standard applies to all and every type of dog." The usual problem will be enforcement, of course.
