Is there such a thing as Bales has got through a web material halti in three days as it was such thin and frankly weak material.

He is getting the idea but stil has battles with it hence the chewing through it.

His behaviour walking is much better and we have got him ignoring well not going ballistic when he sees other dogs so good progress in a week !

He is as thick as thieves with his sisters now and all play really nicely with Puds still putting him in his place which has really helped in calming him down as he is not going at everything like a bull in a china shop .

He has made friends with all the cats and doesn't treat them like a greyhound racing hare anymore ! :-D

Have you tried the dogmatic headcollar they are made of leather or padded webbing and dont ride up into the dogs eyes. The non slip leads are fantastic I wouldn,t use any others now.
I would do a link for you if I knew how to but I,m sure someone who does will be along soon. x

I've nothing to add with regards to the halti but it fabulous to hear how well he is coming on since finding you!!  Bales is a lucky boy.

That is the one I was trying to think of the name so have one on order !

Not a halti exactly but I use one of these headcollars;

http://www.martingaleheadcollar.co.uk/contact-us.php

It fixes at the back of the head so is much less likely to end up in your dog's mouth :) They are made to measure and fleece lined too for a snug fit. I only use Nando's when we are at shows or public events to give that extra control around other dogs as he still thinks they are just for playing!!!

Yes me to. Parrysite just ordered a new one for Brooke she ate her last one when I stupidly left it in her crate in car on the way to a show
