can you please help me out? can a 15/16 year old jack russle with arthritis in his legs where he shakes when he walks, get my dog is pregnant ? 
i was out with friends for the day and my husband let her out in the garden for a pee. and went and made himself a cuppa and came back to find the old dog tied to our dog. he managed to sparate them and the old dog climbed over the metal smesh and the 5ft bushes that he climbed over to get in. i was very imprested he managed it i have to say, as it was a case of seeing is believing. but now i'm worried she may be pregnant. any help/adivce would be much appreciated :)

Yes he certainly can have got her pregnant (and your husband should not have tried to get them apart as that can seriously injure both the dog and the bitch -and makes no difference to the chances of pregnancy anyway) so it's a trip to the vets for an Alizin mismate injection for your bitch I'm afraid.

Yes there is a good chance so book her into the vets to get an Alizin ( dog version of the morning after pill)

Yup!  Valid worry.  Sure as eggs is eggs she will have caught.  As already advised, go for the Alizin jab.  Had a mismate myself and was very pleased that the jab is available.  :-)
