Maybe refused was the wrong word to use! Thanks for your advice anyway.

When you say he " refused to give you the papers" - did he say why ?
Did you ask if the parents were kc registered -because if they arent then you cannot register your dog anyway .
You could always ask him now I suppose although if he refused at the time , it would seem strange that he would now give you them .
Did he have the registration papers and refuse to give them to you or do you mean he refused to register pup ???
