Anyone been today? Was it usual layout-mostly on hard standing in sheds?
was waiting to hear what its like myself but no-one replied?
I haven't been but have friends camping in the rain :( One said the ground is a bit squelchy underfoot and the layout is slightly different with the marquees closer to the roadway. Unfortunately it is raining now and due for tonight. These people have been at WELKS and Blackpool and all I can say is they haven't compared it to that!
Not sure if that is much help, good luck to all attending.
We've always been in the sheds up the top before and parked on the hardstanding just behind but plan seems completely different to me this year ... unless I'm just remembering it wrongly... don't remember tents before. Oh well expect I will find out when over there!!

Buildings and large span tents...but it BATTERED down today. Our rings were ok but the water was creeping in towards us :(

Has anyone been on the lower part?
That's where I should be tomorrow and can't decide whether to give it a miss or not. Also got quite a long journey on my own.

I ws at the show on Friday. The lower part of the showground where the rings were under open sided tents were OK-however water was creeping into the rings.
The top part where the sheds are were fine. The roads were all OK. No water flowing down them.
Wellington boots needed in the lower part if you walking on the grass.
The caravan part was not to bad. There were some awnings that were water logged. It all depended where the people were parked up.

Thanks Spout
Fabulous weather today-admittedly I was only on the upper part but generally fine. It was a little soft underfoot by some of the trade stands but my OES walked round them with me after judging and their feet stayed largely clean. Hope the weather holds for any going tomorrow!
