Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Trade Stand Advice
- By Tricolours [gb] Date 13.08.12 10:53 UTC
I know someone who wants to have a trade stand at shows selling their training treats, and while i was at the Bournemouth Champ show on saturday i looked at all the trade stands and bought stuff, my dogs are enjoying them now :)

Anyway back to the question, do stall holders rent their marquees from outsiders, or do the show supply them or do they bring their own?

All replies welcome.

At agility shows I attend the stall holders bring their own marquees with them - smaller stalls usually have pop-up gazebos.

It might be better for them to attend open shows, I would think that Champ. Shows are really expensive.

The Trade Stand holders bring their own tents/gazebos etc (often sighnwritten with company name).  Set up is at least day before show opens, may be a day or two earlier.  They also need to remember that both public liability insurance and product liability type insurance will be required.  As has been said above, trade stand spaces at Ch shows can be very, very expensive.
