I have been to look at a possible new venue for holding dog shows

It is in Worsley just off East Lancs Road on Wardley Industrial Estate. post code M28 2LY

Vets Manchester Medical Centre 30 yards from venue

It is in a unit that is a dog day care centre. Been open 1 year. www.wagsdoggydaycare.co.uk

It has 6500 square feet to use. The rings will have rubber mats in place. There is a dog area sectioned off where you can either use for grooming or to put say pups in for a run round.
Three fire exits
Small kitchen-no cooker only a mirowave. Has an upstairs for judges to be placed. This room has a window you can look down in to the show rings area.
Big reception area where you could sell food from.
Four toilets.
Good area for excerise area
Plenty of parking either on the road or you can use a big car park next to venue.
Cost £250 for the day. Saturday or Sunday lettings

Think in this day and age we may have to look at less expensive venues, hench I went to view today. I am a secretary of a club plus on several committees so I wanted to see what there is on offer.

It is not the Hilton by any means. It is what it is.
It is used as a doggie day care centre and up to 200 dogs a week go there so you can imagine it is well used.
The owner is good to deal with, I found. He is straight talking but decent to do business with.
If you need pictures of it I have just taken some today.
