Molly my EBT has very dry flaky scabby skin at the base of her spine & top of her tail.

When we had the very wet weather she was bitten quite a bit inside her thighs & a very bad bite under the base of her tail, the Vet suggested Sudocrem which worked very well.(I just popped in, I didn't take her)

I have used Frontline on Molly & used flea carpet powder too.

But now she has been left with this flakey skin, the skin does look pretty pink too.

I will take Mollyto the Vet, but I thought I'd try here first as she is very nervous at the Vets!

I'll look it up & a trip to the vet I feel...

Molly went to the Vet yesterday....the scaley skin may be due to parasites :( She was given a steroid injection & had good examination. It should clear up in a week or so.

that happened to a friends dog .. turned out she was allergic to fleas and needed to be on a treatment each month.Glad you have it sorted.

By yesterday all the scabs had gone, just leaving dandruff. I sponged Molly down with warm water & shampooed her & now dandruff free :-) Just have to keep a eye out in future.
