For one that's effective I've been told you would be spending around £5,000.  Expensive TOY LOL!

What do you want it for?
I work in a maternity unit, in early pregnancy, and we have a protocol of doing no more scans that those that have a clear benefit as, although there is no evidence to say they are harmful, we work on the basis that nor do we have any evidence to show they cannot harm the developing foetus' hearing for example, so not sure that I would be buying one as the temptation must surely be to scan frequently. :)
Most hobby breeders would not be producing more than a dozen or so litters I would have thought so doubt it would work out as any kind of a saving either.
Oh, just realised you might want to use it on yourself!  Definately not recommended for the reasons above, leave it to the experts :)

Hopefully Sharon will be on and see your post.  I know she scans her own bitches herself (and with a great degree of accuracy.)

The landwind '40 which I.have looked into is £3000 draminski is mechanical not electrical probe so not as good.

I have a veterinary pregnancy doppler with the correct probe for dogs that I may consider selling as I'm not longer using it as I now have no dogs.  Send me a PM if you are interested.
