Hi all, I have two Labs, both kept outside. I know toilet training is good when you can get the dogs to associate going to the toilet with going outside, but obviously my dogs are already kept outside! Does anyone know how i can get them to go in a certain place in the back garden?!

My girls have there own special places where they go to the toilet. It is just where they have decided they want to go! I am not sure you can make them go in a place unless you restrict where they can go.

Have you a problem in where they are going at the moment ?

Generally no Lucy but they do sometimes decide to 'plop' in difficult places! i.e outside the back door!! It doesnt happen very often, they tend to do it the opposite end from their kennel, it just the other morn i greeted them only to find one of them had stuck their head in it!! EWW!

Bless them they do like to as you say plop in difficult places ! They do it just t keep us on our toes, or to get it in between our toes !! :D

dog generally dont like to poop near their haven ie kennel so thats why they go other end i know its a stupid question but if you move kennel to the end you dont want poop then they may go at other end of the garden just a thought
