Has anyone used yumega oil and found it made a difference to their dog's coat.

I've been using it for about 6 weeks, honestly, no it hasn't help my dogs skin and coat at all.

IMO, it didn't make any difference

never tried it but salmon oil seemed to gloss up my collies coat when it had been looking a little dull.

Big increase in lipid spots on the cornea these days, I wonder if the overdosing of oils has a bearing?

No difference here as well. Im adding olive oil instead which is cheaper with same invisible results :)

I used yumega on one dog and it made no difference, in fact I felt she took longer to come back into coat.  I have used salmon oil on 2 others and did feel it improved their coats, don't know if yumega would have done the same

I tried it on all three of my dogs for about 5 months and found it an expensive option given the invisible results. I give mine 1000mg EP capsules and find that does keep their coats looking good at a fraction of the cost.

I was recommended it and it made no difference/improvement at all, same with caniglow that our vet suggested.

No difference to coat just caused upset tummy.  Rubbish but good sales pitch! :(

I actually found it did improve my dogs skin, however mine are short coated so not much to improve on coat wise. I have stopped using it as I now feed raw and the oily fish gives them what they need

Thanks for all the responses I do think that too many supplements are used nowadays...will not be buying the oil.
