Yaaaaaaaay, congratulations!
should say my daughters baby is a pup not a human baby.

Ah! You have so much fun ahead of you. German Shepherds have always been my 'top dog' and finally owning one is more than I could have dreamed of! (Although Nando does his best to make it a nightmare sometimes LOL)

I must admit I did think you meant a human baby lol!
Congratulations on the new pup's arrival though :-)
thanks josh :) she will be our 5th shep but only have 3 at the mo! so now im going to be counting 7-8 weeks but i hope 4 weeks go so fast to meet all 9 of them :) then when we go at 6weeks we should know which pup will be ours :)
LOL cavlover i thought it read like that too :) and thyankyou :)

Oh WOW!
So pleased for you. This is such an exciting time for any of us. Feeling quite envious. :-)
Hope the next 4 weeks just whizz by, so you get to see, kiss, and cuddle. :-) :-)

congratulations.... looking forward to hearing how he progresses.. lovely news...

congratulations Jo where did you get said pup ? pm me dont think you can put that on here is it anyone I know ? long or standard coat colour

What colour/coat is she? :))
she will be standed coat the pups are very black :) they do have small amonts of tan/gold but breeder/now very good friend :)!! is going to pick out 1 thats got a dark face its like xmas im so excited :) ...the sire to pups has done well in the ring and other stuff and his dad is a champ ....just waiting for pics but her internet is down at the mo roll on 4weeks time now! and we think we might call her summer LOL x

Ahh, I love all shepherds, but my favourite is definitely the traditional short coat. You have to make sure to post a few pictures :) I am feeling nostalgic, this time last year I was in America and my Mum and Sister had been to visit Nando's litter for the first time!

I am sooo envious, Sheps are my absolute fav. dogs. This is the first time in my life I haven't had a gsd in my life and I really miss their company. Unfortunately I have reached an age when I am cutting down on my dog family and as they go to the rainbow I am not filling the gap with a new dog, so I have accepted that I will never have another gsd in this lifetime ( sad) but I do not have the energy and ability to look after large dogs anymore ( not well anyway) but I make every attempt to love other peoples sheps. I wish you every minute of joy with your new baby, and enjoy and treasure every moment.

Oh I'm envious, congratulations!
Fingers crossed the litter I would be interested in comes to fruition in 2014!!

Oh, Sooo Exciting!! I don't know if you might remember but I posted a while ago looking for the right breed for me. We decided on a GSD from Agility lines. We are the proud owner of a long-coat Blue bitch who is now 7 months old and I adore her. It is such an intelligent breed and she is very active and able to keep up with our busy household.
I can't wait to hear about your new baby! I too prefer the dark faces. In fact, my girl looks like a pure black all over:)
Oh lovely!I love german shepherds too, only had one but she was a darling.Good luck with new pup!
thankyou guys :) cant post pics on here but will be puting them on mt web site so i will do a link to it soon x
we have a blue too :) she is my true love she was our 1st shep and the reason i love this noble breed,i feel blessed to have her in our lifes we call her nanna and she will take the pup on like her own and mother her :) x
