I've got a Kong one so it is slightly flexible - easy on the mouth but also easy for the dogs to pick it up on a hard surface.  Not cheap, but well worth the money for not splintering into huge plastic shards! Does tend to hurt my thighs when they shake it furiously as they walk past though!

Ruff Dawg makes a more durable rubber disc. Not the conventional frisbee, but great for dogs that destroy plastic discs.

I buy mine from Morrisons and they are £1.99.  They are competition weight ones so although not dog specific are very robust.
