Can anyone tell me the following.

If a breeder with a prefix breeds their bitch with a dog from another KC registered dog do you simply write on some form which dog your bitch was mated with, send the form of to KC with the names on it and fee and thats it?

Or does the KC get in touch with the sires owner to verify the mateing has taking place with his dog, or does KC contact him to verify the mateing? or are there any alternatives to these questions.

The owner of the sire has to fill in a form and sign it.
