Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / covering up poo (and another question)

I woke up this morning and my girl was all wet, as was the bottom of her crate. I had heard her heaving in the night (we are in the caravan now) and I think it was sick as she drank a lot of water before bed and had hiccups for ages. Am I right that it wouldnt be any amniotic fluid at 28 days ? Im pretty certain its not because I heard her heaving and it had a few bits of brown lumps (soaked kibble) in it.

I then took her outside, I dont want to bath her and stress her more as we arent at home so ive put her in the sun as its only water and I will dry bath her later with foam and brush her through but anyway she had a poo and by the time I had gone inside for a poo bag and come back out she had used her snout to cover it over with sand. Shes never ever done this before. Is there a reason shes done this ?

Dogs cover poo up to stop it attracting other dogs to the area, she may be more stressed because she is away from her comfort zone.

If she is vomiting in the early hours this may be due to a drop in blood sugar, try leaving her with some kibble to munch on during the night.
