My pups are nearly three weeks old, when do you all recommend weaning? Everyone has different views it's nice to get some clarification on it ???

I start my medium breed with first tastes by 18 days, so that they are on 4 tiny meals by three weeks when I worm them after a meal, but they are trying to eat Mums food by then. 

When a litter were levelling off with weight gain I have started as early as when the eyes were open at 12 days.

I let my pups decide.  As the bitches food is always fed in the whelping box, pups start licking at it when ready.

I don't ever make the decision to wean myself.  The bitch and pups always know better than me.  :-)
