I wondered if anyone could shed some light on this. The last 2 days my male has been trying to mount my bitch. If shes pregnant she would be 24 days today. Is there a reason he could be doing this ? Ive put him in the crate, he isnt excessively pestering her but has mounted her a couple of times and she growled at him.

Bitches can still give off a scent that will attract some males after a season is finished, the same hormones support a phantom or a pregnancy so no indication that she will be pregnant.

My girls will turn on any of the boys who try to hump them out of season, the girls doing the humping is a different matter, they hang on like bareback riders as the boys try to shake them off.
