Was on this site about 2 or 3 years ago when my boy Sam now nearly 12 border collie/lab developed a severe nail bed infection
Was told he would lose his toe but wouldn't give in
Did eventually clear after 3 different anti-biotics
He's now come home from kennels with the same problem, same paw. but different toe!
Started on anti-biotics and Loxicom today, so hopeful this will clear too.

Thanks for coming back and updating us :) I would be very concerned if my dog returned from kennels with the same 'problem'. Do they have any idea what he is doing that is causing this problem? I assume he is jumping up at something and catching his toe and that inturn is becoming infected? If it only ever happens when he has been kenneled, then I think I would be looking to finding a different kennels :)
