whispa has pulled a muscle in his shoulder and is now on complete rest for a while. He is on metacam albeit reluctantly for my part but he does seem better with it.
I was considering giving him glucosamine or salmon oil long term what are you opinions?. Also my  Bentley cat who broke his leg a while ago I feel it wouldnt hurt to give him something to help prevent future problems can they both have the same and how do you work out the dosage and where is the best place to get it from ? I have seen glucosamine everywhere from aldi to prescribed are there any differences ?

I would recommend Yumove and also salmon oil capsules.  Salmon oil deteriorates when exposed to oxygen, so the capsules are better than liquid form.  You can get the human ones from health food stores.

didnt know that about deterioration so my bottle of liquid salmon oil is probably dead !

If I have bottles of oil I keep them in the fridge, unlike the capsules that can be kept in a cupboard. As far as I know, keeping the bottle in the fridge means it keeps a bit longer.
