Hi, can anyone tell me what the showground is like for caravanning/camping?

Just heard that the showground is under 4-6" water and all judging to be inside.!

When I was a member of the Red Cross as a child/teenager I used to help out at the first aid tent at the 3 Counties, we lived in Worcester back then.

I see on Higham press caravans have been moved to hard standing so should be OK. I am assuming all judging will be inside as the grass rings will be muddy. The information sheet is stating all car parking is across the road as usuall and HP say the ground is OK.
Just washed two hairy white footed beasts...with sponge paws..wonder if it was worth the effort really as the walk from the car park may undo all my hard work! Oh well will get there early and try to mend the damage I suppose.

Good Luck. You could do with plastic knee hi's for the dogs, glad my breed can fit in a show trolley.

Grrr, why won't it stop raining! Seems like as every show comes around a rain cloud comes with it! Except windsor that lucked out.  Didn't think I would be packing wellies and umbrella in July!!

The sun shone on Windsor because it was the only show I went to!

Just back and it is not too bad. We were lucky and parked in the car park though lots were on the field. The sun came out after a shaky start and the walkways were dry.  Just a little paw tidying to do. Vino won 1st Post Grad. Her half sister had 2nd open so all in all worth the 250 mile round trip....even if the M50 was closed westward and we had to go around !!! it was open Eastbound so OK coming home.
