Can anyone please tell me....If I subscribe to online version of the dog press, is the edition able to be saved as a file to look back on....?  Never done an online subscription before and feeling a bit thick here! lol

Yes for both Our Dogs and Dog World, in pdf format. Our Dogs can be saved a page at a time, and Dog World can be saved as a single page, several pages or the entire paper. You can also look back over all issues since they went digital.

If you want to look back as critiques from years gone by OD is pretty comprehensive going back over 10 years, don't know if every single critique ever published in the printed editions is there say 5 years and before but still a lot.  DW on the other hand is poor, I just broke down and subscribed to DW (have done OD for a Few years now) and even though I asked before how far back critiques went (was told 10 years)for my breed they only go back 3 years !  And not all of them at that.

I have had terrible trouble getting dog world online.  I did the premier subs which included paper and web, I get the paper but cannot access my online account for the members area. I have rung DW countless times to be told the web people will ring me ASAP it never happend really unimpressed wasnt cheap to subscribe neither :((

Well, I've just learnt something!! I've subscribed to Dog World for 23 years, was delighted when it was online but had no idea you could look up old critiques!! I'll have to go and have a look now!

I am trying to read it on my iPad. I can double click into a page, but every time I double click out (so I can turn the page), it crashes my iPad. Had no trouble when using the Dog World App, but apparently that is only for the free trial subscription (because Apple charge if Dog World are paid).

Seems a really good paper, but think I'm going to have to cancel my sub as I just can't read it.... :-(

I download the entire paper as a pdf, then load it onto my iPad through the Kindle app. Much easier :-)

You need to go to 'Launch digital edition'. Click on the front cover of this week's issue and this week's issue will load. At the top left of the screen there's a button that says 'View archive', click on this and it'll show you all the issues that you can view (back to October 2007), just click the issue that you want. If you click on the 'Menu' button at the bottom of the screen you can then download the entire issue to pdf (far easier to read in pdf format).
