My male Dogue has what I think is a worm at his back end. Not sure what species, but its small and white opaque size of rice grain. It moves like a leach going long, thin.and flat then back to rice size. This is the 3rd one I have seen he was wormed 6 weeks ago. But he eats dead things when.were out. Fresh dead but still wild dead. What do you think it is? I have a pic but not sure how to show you
Thankyou all, he was wormed with panacur not sure if this does tapeworm I've thrown the pack out. I'll have a look on hyperdrug see what covers all worms. He has lacked condition lately and acts like he's never fed. Hopefully a good dose will clear him out and ilk keep an eye on his poo when picking it up. Never come across tapeworm before. But he's had a few hares and rabbits so probably swallowed few fleas. Will skin em next time

Grains of rice near the bum are a classic sign of tapeworm.
Panacur only deals with one kind of tapeworm, it doesn't cover the other kind. You need to use either: Milbemax (prescription only), Drontal + or Plerion to be sure of covering both kinds of tapeworm. (To name a few off the top of my head.)
It is good to vary your wormer and not always to use the same one - for reasons like this. I use Milbemax, Drontal +, Panacur and Plerion in random rotation every 3 months. If your dog routinely eats dead animals or poo, then maybe worm every 2 months.
Tapeworms are zoonotic (can be transmitted to people), so wouldn't leave this to chance and would worm again in a few days with one of the above.
