Hi guys

Just want to know when dog belly's usually drop wherein the puppies position themselves for birth.

It's because my bitch is currently at day 62 from first breeding and 58 from last breeding.
She has had the mucus plug discharge 2 days ago. Yesterday she had a bit of milk already.

With that said, her size is still more or less the same as pre-breeding. No belly enlargement, just ribs.
I'm assuming therefore that she's carrying high.

So close to the due date but with no abdominal enlargement, just wanna ask if she's gonna drop her belly soon.

Thanks.

Not all bitches have the dropped belly which leaves the spine looking very prominent, the more pups there are the more weight to carry,if it is her first litter then her muscles will be less lax, I see my girls change shape but as they have only had 3 or 4 pups so no excessive weght.

Are you sure she's pregnant?  Your previous posts thought she wasn't?

My bitch didn't 'drop' at all (medium breed carrying 4).

Our big girls noticeably drop, but then they generally have biggish to big litters. Our one and only Toy litter didn't result in a visible drop - she just looked huge!
