Hi I have a 21 week old pup who is entered into his first show in 6 weeks....the problem is that he was bitten in the face by one of the older bitches, she never broke the skin she was just being over enthusiastic telling him off ( he can be a pest)but he had some hair loss on the site, the hair is taking forever to grow back.  At the moment I have been using Liverine Unction cream for about 10 days and this does not seem to be helping at all, I was adviced to try a hydrating ointment so I was wondering if anyone has had this problem at what they found usefull.  Forgot to add it was about 5 weeks ago that it happened

By 6weeks time it should have grown back fully, you may find that the hair may not grow evenly over that spot depending on what damage has been done to the hair follicles.

I wouldn't expect a "war wound" to cause the pup to be marked down.
