Anyone else seen the adverts for this on wensday, reading about it on itv's tv guide it looks like it is going to be just like the last one, 'pint-sized puppies', 'Doggie Moms and dog weddings', ' tiny felines', a jumping guineapig, a micro pig, munchkinXsphynx cats. Wonder if they will actualy mention any of the health problems with these tiny dogs or just gloss over it like in the last one.

Cant they put on a deceant animal program tats actualy informative rather then just showing 'cute' animals and talking about how cute they are.

I must admit I was repulsed when I saw my first Munchkin Sphynx cat... I thought 'How could that happen?'. But then I thought, we have that and more in dog equivalent. How can I be so upset about that but feel completely at home with a Crested or a Doxie?

Yep they calling then bambinos, they also crossing them to bengals, oraintals and savanhas to get spotted shortleged long body ones with the aim of makeing it look like a gennet (allthogh why they couldnt just go get a gennit instead i dont know), and doing all sorts of crosses to get diffrent types of dwarf cats including one to get curled ears and short tails.

some if the pics ive seen the cats legs dont look that short then in other picks the cats frount end is barley off the floor. I supose like with shortlegged dog breed its all about moderation, how far it too far, and i supose you will allways get people who want ot take it to the very extream.

Someone in america is also breeding teacup and micro Persians, with there micro weighing between 3-4lb and costing over $2000! So looks like the fad has moved to cats as well as. A friend showed me a site the other week of a breeder (term used lightly) who specialised to microteacups and a poor chi puppy they had a pic of looked so sickly and looked as if he had a swolen head. There needs to be a 'teacup pets exposed' i think.

Super Tiny Animals aren't interested in the health aspect of these poor souls in the slightest. They have a FB page, anyone who posts concerning the health/welfare of the animals soon gets banned.
The only members they are interested in are the ones that "ohhh and ahhh " and look on them as fashion accessories.
