I  don't know if people agree with me but i do feel it's unfair that the general public have to pay to get in to certain shows .....e.g. Windsor yesterday my son and his little boy arrived at the show at about midday he paid the £5 car park charge and again £5 to get in even though a lot of the dogs were leaving . Personally I feel one charge is enough after all at Crufts the dogs have to stay until a certain times and there is a lot to do and see .Just a little rant on this Monday morning !!!!!!

Well it is up to the people entering if it is worth it to them or not after all £5 to enter is not a lot for a days entertainment and nor is £5 a lot to park the car all day - your son chose to only come for the afternoon but that was his choice he could have been there at 9 in the morning.

At Crufts you'd pay £8 to park the car and about £16 for one adult to get in so there really isn't much of a comparison -and this is why we are forced to stay with the dogs until 4 pm.

plus at Crufts I think you have to pay for children as well, so Windsor was much cheaper.  Blackpool charge £10 for parking free entry so the same price in reality.

Tell him to come over to the dark side - you can park for free at an Obedience show and spend all day there at with no entry fee to get in either.

To be fair most of the champ shows don't charge for parking themselves, but the charge is down to the site owners, and quite a few who own their own sites don't charge parking at all.

A few charge for parking and no entrance fee in order that legally docked dogs can compete, as the law States that dogs docked after the cut off period (pardon the pun) Cannot be shown where the public pay an entrance fee.

A lot of other types of shows charge a lot more than any dog show.
