Can anyone tell me when is the correct time for the mother of the bride to remove her hat?

Formally, after the wedding breakfast. Otherwise, any time after the ceremony, other ladies may then remove theirs :) :) :)

Daisy is right. However, I took mine off when I got to the reception as I kept bumping into people with it on! I wouldn't have wanted to keep it on during the meal. Also, I nipped off to redo my hair after I took it off so I looked OK in the rest of the photos. Of course if you just wear a fascinator, you can keep it on all the time if you like. I think anything goes really.

You could be lucky ! My son married three years ago, almost. It had rained all week, but the Saturday the sun came out and it was glorious !!

Good Luck - you'll have a super day whatever the weather tho' :)
