Today at training class one of the group members took in her new pup a gorgeous golden cocer  but during class i noticed she walked funny. When she walks her back left leg kind of turns in the way and her back legs i can only describe as lookiing a bit wobbly or squint, its so difficult to describe. Her owner hadnt really noticed it but if she were mine id be a bit concerned. She is however going to take her to the vet.Any ideas what this could be?

No idea but I can tell you Remy does a similar thing - his back hocks kick out sideways as he walks, just a little.  Nothing wrong with him to cause it though - I assume it's just bad breeding (he is pet bred and atrociously so, inbred, and his conformation is all wrong for a dobe).

Might be worth checking hips and knees (thinking luxating patella - maybe the pup is trying to compensate for pain)?  I've heard of an entire litter of cocker pups having practically no hip joints through malnutrition of the bitch, they couldn't use their back legs at all to begin with.

Hi Kenzi, my dog had a weird gait and he had put something out of line in his back, might be worth asking to be referred to a canine chiropractor, it's worked wonders for my boy
