If your vet says that they are going to put him on syloxine then perhaps she has already done the blood tests necessary to check his thyroid function?
Why don't you call the vet and ask for a list of tests already done and results and then post it on here for people to respond and help you make sense of it all?
It sounds like different conditions and diagnostics are getting muddled up as you wouldn't do an ecg to check what level of syloxine (tablets) a dog needs, and yet a heart irregularity and fitting which could be two different problems, could also be caused by an underlying thyroid problem... You see how its all getting a bit muddled?

>im new to this so no need to be rude is there

Jennifer, with respect nobody's been rude; you've politely been asked if you could post in a conventional way so that people can understand you and help you and your dog. Please help us to help you.

Yes Jeangenie i understand in what you are saying but i feel Stooge & Claire were rude to me :( there was no need to say that, other people have been responding to my posts and there is alot of posts as u can see, and not one said anything about my posts regarding my gramma, but as soon as Stooge & Claire say something all hell breaks loose :O

Sorry thats how i feel :)

I'm sorry you feel like that; I'm certain it wasn't meant to be taken in that way. :-) Can we put the misunderstanding behind us and start again? :-)

Well I have been trying to answer your questions for your dogs benefit despite finding your post difficult to read.

I am one of the worst people for dyslexic typing and have to edit my posts all the time for spelling.

I took time to explain why it is better to write in standard manner because of how the forum works with search engines to help answer peoples questions when they search (you were rude to my reply).

No-one is criticising your grammar, just your writing style makes it harder to understand your points/questions.

Brainless as far as i know i have not been rude to you at all, i understand in what you are saying its just a habit from texting mates on phones etc..... and to let you know i donot suffer from Dyslexia ok, im sorry if you feel that i was rude but i assure you i was not being rude to you or anyone else on here.

Its other peoples negativity Jeangenie that i cant handle i am asking about my dog Sam and his condition not my English, there are plenty more dog sites out there i can join without the negativity. My poor Sam is very poorly all i ask for is help and advice and i get people that have a go at my gramma or the way i say things, im sorry for that but im a dog lover n i love my sam dearly thats all that matters surely, not my ENGLISH!

Thks anyway Jeangenie ;)

Please dont take it to heart, all we were saying is you may get faster, more detailed responses if we could read your posts easier and quicker.

I hope you get to the bottom of Sam's illness.
- By marisa [gb] Date 13.06.12 13:16 UTC
Wow, how rude to people who have been so patient about offering you advice!
- By Brainless [gb] Date 13.06.12 14:32 UTC
sorry Jen, people politely said nothing at first about the text speech, but as more replies came in getting more confusing, then it had to be mentioned for clarity.

When I explained why it is best to write normally your replied "and Brainless you have been reading my texts without difficulty like everyone else who have responded to my posts and im new to this so no need to be rude is there, god why dont u shoot me that im not writing the proper english text for u,"

I would say that was far more rude than pointing out your method of writing was not helping to get your points across.

So please don't take things personally, we are all interested in helping your Sam, but for that we do need to be able to accurately understand what your trying to say, that after all is the purpose of a common language, which in this case is English :).
