I have gotten the puppy I wanted :D They are just over 6 weeks now and he is now reserved and waiting to come to Ireland. I can't believe it! I sure hope it sinks in soon ;)

How exciting! Have you got a shortlist of names or are you waiting till you meet him?

Thanks guys, I can't wait until it sinks in because I know I am seriously excited LOL. I feel so lucky as this mating is just the ideal one for me, I have followed the dam's kennel for a long, long time and the sire is my favourite dog in our breed currently so it doesn't get much better than that...oh wait it does, the breeder is wonderful, the parents are health tested even though it's not required for our breed and the best thing is, he was my pick of the litter from the start. :)
I have a name in mind but I don't know if it will suit him when I meet him... we are going to meet him in 4 weeks and he can't travel home for nother 8 :(
You sound sooo excited. Congratulations!! Nothing beats that feeling of excitment, impatience and anticipation of waiting for a new pup. Time will go so slowly from now on lol

It's sinking in as we speak!
I'm glad I'm so super organised, all the travel/PET passport/etc information and flight quotes are all arranged, my OH and I's trip to the breeder is arranged, all I have to do now is wait. and read more books. and maybe look at more collars for sale.
LOL

Oh there are so many beautiful Hound collars you could spend a fortune.
With my breed really you want collars that disappear and don't mark the coat, but with yours they can act as lovely embellishments.

Maybe we should guess what breed? Won't that be fun. Right, Hound group and you can get them in red or black and they don't have a profuse coat.........I'm rubbish in hounds...........Ermmmmm.........Afghan?

I reckon greyhound.

congratulations inka, tremendous news--although even after he comes home with you it will still be sinking in. I picked up our little girl 9 days ago and I can't get over it, every day is better than Christmas :-). Good luck with your little guy!

I- was thinking bassett !
I'm sure it's already been said elsewhere hasn't it? Greyhound...
Good news Inka and don't forget to collect that spare food when you visit :) By the time your pup gets home you're going to have a huge collection of puppy things, collars, beds, toys - never mind, shopping will make the time go faster!

How exciting, I'm delighted for you :-)
p.s. any photos?

congratulations all good things come to those who wait x
