Does anyone know why a pup can get crystals in his bladder? Our seven-month-old Cocker Spaniel might have them (went to vet this morning for test) and I'm worried about how it will affect him when he's older.
Thank you, Chloe

Diet can be a big cause with crystals in the urine and you will probably have to change the diet check www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk read what they say about crystals in urine. i have an old dog with a urinary track problem and have had to change his diet and it was worked very well
All the best

Hi
Isn't it aggravated/caused by too much protein?
I did know a vet once who put a healthy dally down because the owners couldn't afford to pay the food the vet recommended and the dog was always hungry. My male dally had stones, but it was cured by a low protein complete.
