Anyone got any good recipes for doggy birthday cakes? Nando turns 1 soon and, being the sad dog owner that I am, I want to give him a birthday present!

I simply buy a pie or flan case, fill it with meat of any sort (canned food is simple), use chew sticks as candles and decorate with bits of sausage and various treats. :)

Liver cake stuck together with cheese spread and biscuits on top, like this one for the zois 1st birthday.

I make lazy liver cake - tesco value sponge mix chucked in the blender with the liver :-)

or this one like Marianne said, tinned meat pressed into a bone shape, covered with grated cheese and biscuits.
