Hello,
A couple of months ago my brothers newly acquired 6 yr old Scottish terrier Daisy had an op to remove bladder stones. Since then shes been on tinned Special Diet recommended and bought from the vet.
She got the all clear from her last urine test today but Vet says she has to commence Dry Special Diet for remainder of her life to prevent futher development of stones. The cost of the special diet is £25 for 5 kilo bag. Very expensive don't you think. I'd hate to think the Vet is pulling a fast one. Do any of you know anything about this area we could do with some advice, ie cheaper suitable diet for daisy. Brother does'nt earn alot of money but loves his Daisy to bits.
