Well, we got home at midnight with our little girl and it's just fantastic. The boys were very gallant--Bean immediately appointed himself her guardian (he is her uncle after all :-)), Jack was a bit upset at first with the change but has allowed her to pounce on his tail today, bless him; and Diesel, ruler of the household, is keeping a weather eye on her. She of course is rapidly taking over :-) :-) :-)

She's been super in her crate (but gets to sleep in bed with the rest of us when she wakes up), has been exploring the house and has just gone for a nap while I take the boys out for a well earned stretch.

I've got a couple of photos of her but don't know how to put them up...sad really, but too excited to do much about it yet!

I can't believe she was so calm on the way home, she just curled up in the crate with Bean. Jack was put out at having to share the back seat with Diesel, I think that annoyed him far more than bringing a puppy home :-)

Clare, thanks a million for the loan of the crate, I have set up a crate on every floor now :-). If I email you a couple of photos would that be ok?

lol--I nearly fell over when he got 1st in Open, never mind BOB--there were some quality dogs there who have beaten him before. He made a shortlist for a huge BIS challengewhich was terrific--a lot of very classy dogs that do very well for themselves at the highest level. Very pleased to be in their company today!

Thank you everybody, Rye is a little beauty, very funny and keeping the big boys on their toes. Uncle Bean doesn't let her come to any harm and ran to get me when she cried in her crate. What a star he is! Will get some phone photos together of them all--I will have to figure out this photobucket business...
