There's a dalmatian urgently needing a home:

She has dog aggression issues but by the looks could possibly live with other dogs, if anyone knows anyone who could help?  The post has been there a few days so she might be sorted by now but worth trying if not :-)  She's the sort of dog I love to take on but I just can't take anything in at the moment, until Tia's gone.

Thats such a shame, I really feel for the owners :-(
It says that she has already been in touch with Dalmatian Welfare and they can't help but I will cross post it on my FB wall to see if any of my Dal friends can offer any help.

I have also cross posted this. I think it is a shame that dalmation rescue can't / won't help

We don't know the reasons - it could be that at present there's nowhere suitable for the dog to go, bearing in mind that she has already bitten her owner.

Its very difficult to place dogs with behaviour problems and especially one who has already bitten. Homes with experienced people that have the set up to take on such dogs are unfortunately extremely rare. :-( Welfare already has such a huge job on their hands with few volunteers but I am sure they offered as much help and advice as they could.
I cross posted in the hope that someone in my breed with training experience would consider taking her on but I know the chances are low.

To be honest there are lots of lovely natured dogs in rescue looking for homes, if this were my dog and I could no longer look after her I would have her put to sleep rather than risk her being passed around and stressed.

I understand  the difficulties but still think it is a shame.

This.  This is what breaks my heart - she is as I said exactly the sort of dog I like to take on but I just can't right now :-(
